North Berwick is a small town situated in East Lothian on the coast of the Firth of Forth about 23 miles from Edinburgh and 15 minutes drive from the cottage. The Sea Bird Centre, Bass Rock and other attractions.

North Berwick also boasts a number of magnificent sandy beaches (photo below) which run for several miles in either direction.
